  • Did you know, according to the AHIP HSA Census 2014, the numbers of Americans with HSA-eligible insurance has grown from 1 million in 2005 to over 17.4 million in 2014? In the same way pensions eventually transformed into 401(k) plans among employers, the consumer-driven trend appears high deductible health plans are becoming more accepted in the workplace. • In our 2015 Employee Financial Wellness survey, among 572 employees surveyed nationwide, those with no wellness program at work rated their overall benefits satisfaction at 6.03 (10 point scale). Those that had wellness programs, but excluded financial wellness, rated their benefits satisfaction at 7.75. Those with wellness programs that included financial wellness rated their benefits satisfaction the highest at 8.11, 34.5% higher than those without any wellness program. • According to the 2014 Lead Response Report by InsideSales.com, 47% of leads do not receive a response at all after inquiring with a vendor about their services. Among those leads, 24% receive only one follow-up with no further contact. For some of you that call upon larger employers, this may be a great opportunity to show your value through professional follow-up and building relationships. Prospects today appreciate value-added ideas and content before making a sales decision. Combine this with ongoing professional follow-up and 2016 may be a good year for you!
